Seconded, 2c-b is the gentlest of the common psychedelics I've experienced. Not much physical load (like nausea, chills, cramps), a good factor of safety, no hangover, and the experience itself is very positive and lucid. Far less mind fuck than shrooms or LSD, but still has wonderful visuals and great physical body vibes. Music is incredible on it, it can make you want to dance, sex is unreal (body vibes are second only to MDMA imo, only without any sexual dysfunction). The visuals are quite strong in comparison to comparable doses of other psychedelics, so it's a very visual trip even at moderate doses that don't have much mental confusion, ego loss, mind loops, etc.

Some people say having a good strong trip on LSD is like driving a car on a twisty scenic mountain road without breaks: it's an incredibly beautiful experience but it can be a bit harrowing, and you have to keep your shit together to keep the car turning where you want it to. The equivalent analogy for shrooms is that you're in the same car, but you're riding in the passenger seat... all you can do is hold on and go where it takes you. Well I'd say 2c-b then is the same car but you have breaks now, so even though you're moving at a good clip you don't feel nearly as worried about flying off the side.

Also I really wouldn't consider it a research chem though some people do; it's several decades old and has been used plenty over the years. Just don't confuse it with 25b-NBOMe; they are somewhat chemically related but have totally different potencies and safety thresholds. 2c-b gets a bad rep because people associate the alphabet soup name with all the shitty RC's out there, when it really deserves to sit at the big kids table with other popular psychs.
