Good news; I was offered an amazing career opportunity that will absolutely change my life. Bad news?;

Arkansas is a medicinal marijuana state, ironically enough, that might help

That absolutely can help. Be careful substituting one thing for another, while Cannabis is rather forgiving compared to most things it can still be habit forming and have unpleasant results upon cessation. Don't misinterpret that, I love cannabis and think it is a wonderful medicine; however I have abused it in my life and know that was not a good path for me.

I want to add on to the comment /u/ko951 left about having a toolbox of options. This is very good advice. Having an assortment of herbs, supplements, personal therapies and proper lifestyle/diet are vital. You're coming off of a very large usage/abuse(?)

Here is a thread written to help users get off of strong opiates/opoiods. All of the supplements are legal. I suggest avoiding phenibut, that is meant as a bumper dose for stronger opiates. Phenibut is more addicting and less forgiving when quitting. You don't need that.

Black Seed Oil can be a very helpful tool to have around, it also has some opoiod affinity if i am remembering correctly. Akuamme (i haven't used it) also has opoiod activity. Ginger might be worth checking out to supplement. I've read promising stuff on Bacopa for morphine and opoiod withdrawal and toxicity. Black Seed Oil and Bacopa together = amazing. Bacopa must be taken with a fat.

Why do you use Kratom? I might have more suggestions for you (if you want them).
