Google Brass Set 2023 as Deadline to Beat Amazon, Microsoft in Cloud

In the United States, most business is done despite the management, not *because* of it. The managers typically pull numbers and dates out of their asses, and the soldiers on the ground scatter and kill themselves to make it happen, no matter how ridiculous. "Doing the impossible", all that crap. Obviously at the expense of their own health and personal lives.

On occasion, when a goal is a guaranteed death march, that strategy backfires. Like with Boeing lying about the timeline for fixing 737 Max problems. Not. Possible. The hole is too deep. The CEO is gone as of a few days ago.

I assume same is going to happen here. Some heads are going to roll because this is a massive blunder. But no fear. A few broken employees and functioning alcoholics later, the brass will pay the price will exit comfortably with millions in reparations.
