Google didn't even bother to Google their own facts

People are downvoting because he is wrong and after he was told he was wrong, he is being stubborn about it.

Look - I mean if I say

"a room full of married people is empty, bc there is not a single person in it"

It is a stupid joke! :D

There's no point in getting ANGRY, and in ARGUEING with me about that room and those people, is there now? Telling that joke I obviously already KNOW that single persons in that room are people too. Also, it's all fictional and... there is no actual room full of married people! :)

I cannot possibly be WRONG in content, right?

But if I insist that I am right, and repeat the pun in BOLD letters, I might adding to the confusion, still I'm not really being stubborn now. :)

"Not the purpose of downvoting." - I know, but we all know how Reddit works.

Same way that the left lane is supposed to be used only for passing, but we all stay in that lane even if we aren't passing people.

Yea. I know. On the contrary.

But I've been reading on reddit for years now, and have rarely seen this much senseless heckling in a subreddit - about facepalms!

And of course, I don't need a dictionary to understand that, if I call it confusing. It's just my polite metaphore for "ironically short-sighted". (Yes that was also a metaphore!) :D :D

Thanks for taking the time. Take care!

TL;DR - guy makes mildly funny word play, got lost in translation, people got mad and argue with him, I say he has a point, now my inbox is full of people being /r/woooosh calling me /r/iamverysmart

& for the record:

I AM SORRY! :D

DO NOT BE ANGRY! NO MORE FANMAIL! :D

I DO NOT HAVE AN OPNION ON ASTRONAUTS!
