Google exec fired after female boss groped him at drunken bash, suit says

Unfortunately, I have had a similar experience at a certain similarly large tech company. It’s one of the things that bought me to this sub, as I could never talk about to anywhere else. I started working at this certain large tech company straight out to university.
As one of the few attractive and physically fit guys in my office, I was subject to frequent verbal sexual harassment and uncomfortable situations from female coworkers and managers. At the time, I thought this was just typical corporate shenanigans, and this was long before #metoo. I also couldn’t report it to anyone, as my particular HR representative was one of the women who had sexually harassed me. Things only got worse after I got a female manager. For a while I was sick, and she kept wanting to visit me (at my apartment) to “pamper me”. She also frequently requested we go for after-work drinks together (alone), and various other activities. Having rejected all her advances, she clearly took retaliatory action against me, such as deliberately putting me onto crappy projects, not providing me with career support, giving me poor performance reviews without evidence, fabricating complaints from peers, etc. This has probably pushed back my career by at least 5 years. As soon as I moved to a new organization and manager, my performance magically skyrocketed. Unfortunately, this was probably too long ago for me to be able to pursue any legal action. I did notice that this particular woman was demoted from being a manager back to an IC, so maybe someone else came forward.
