For many years, most of us thought that things that we posted online or said or thought wouldn't really matter, or at the very least that it would stay private if exchanged by email for example. We knew that these companies were using metadata for advertising purposes and this was a clear and reasonable contract that we accepted because they offer these services for free.

It’s a fair deal right? Use their services for free and they make money using your metadata to make money.
That’s capitalism 101, life goes on and we shrug it off.
Enter 2017 and politicized corporations.
This changes everything. Absolutely everything.
Things have changed fundamentally and in a very important way in 2017.
We now know for sure and without an ounce of a doubt that these companies are infested with Social Justice Warriors and Alt-Leftists that won’t hesitate a second to abuse their power and access your data to expose you, shame you and ruin your entire life if they decide that you are guilty of Wrongthink.
The recent events that have happened involving these major U.S corporations are a clear indicator that we cannot trust these companies with our data and our identity anymore.
The trust of bond has been broken forever. There is no reparation possible unless these companies are regulated like Utility. They are now actively censoring people with opinions that don’t align with their Leftist agenda. They are now actively against conservative viewpoints. It’s not a conspiracy anymore, it’s true. It’s really happening. It’s time to wake up for all of us and act accordingly.
This is scary beyond belief and extremely serious. It deserves all our attention. We are now living in a reality where we can’t pretend that it’s not true anymore.
Now think for a moment what would happen in the event that a civil war would break out in the U.S? What would happen if California really seceded?
The Alt-Left has all your data in their possession, they know everything about you. Your identity, your political affiliations, your business deals, your darkest secrets, etc. They know absolutely everything about you.
Do you really think that they will respect your privacy if they think that you are the enemy? Do you trust them? I absolutely don’t trust them anymore and never will again.
Everything that has happened in the last few days was the last straw for me and a major wake-up call.
You should all start migrating your data from these services as soon as you can and never use them again. If you don’t, you might regret it dearly in the future if things go south.
Migrate your data, “delete your accounts” (nothing will really be deleted anyways so that’s just a symbolic gesture) and sign up for secured services preferably outside of the U.S (i.e Protonmail). Stop using Chrome and don’t buy Google phones. Use Gab instead of Twitter (I don’t know why The_Donald removed them, and I think they should promote them actively). Use Mind instead of Facebook.
Promote these pro-free speech platforms to your friends and your family. Do everything you can to open their eyes and make them see what is truly going on right now.
Not so long ago MySpace was the dominant social media platform, always remember that. It’s all about adoption and number of users. Promote companies and applications that promote free speech and reject companies that do not. This is how we can win the fight against free speech and the free flow of information on the internet.
The current year is not 2017, the current year is 1984, and we are living in it now. Act accordingly and start protecting yourself and your loved ones.
