He used a program that 100% legally mods games for single player or private server purposes and the program itself doesn't even come close to being able to mod the files in SMITE. The name "Cheat Engine" is only a name in itself and is closer to a game shark to add fun effects to games or make it so you can mod otherwise unmoddable parts of a game. Again, this is completly normal for people to do in other games and those game makers completly support it for single player/private servers.

Even if you still think he "cheated" in another game Hirez does not have the legal power to monitor other games for security. They simply do not have the legal power to write up a contract saying, "if you cheat in any game you and everyone will be banned".

If you knew anything about computers or how the Smite authenticator works you would know that your hardware IDs and multiple other unique identifers are sent. Your last part my be the stupidest thing you have said yet...not a single other modern game has secrutiy that scans your computer when not playing and looks just for software. Most secruity systems detect the actual action of changing files, injecting your own files or anything else that ACTUALLY HACKS THE GAME. Unfortantly cheat engine is 100% a false postive because I have made a shit account downloaded cheat engine to test it and I am telling you it cannot possibly mod smite in any way shape or form.
