I've known about the auto banning for a while, I didn't know the details behind how it works. Apparently the bot is called Saferbot and it's run by IrbyTremor and someone called YellowMix.

If you're unfamiliar with IrbyTremor, they're the most censorship happy mod on Reddit (and a ghazi founding member). They're also notorious for lying about brigading, harassment, you name it. This person would willingly trample over the rights of every person on Reddit to remove all "problematic" speech.

So what we end up with is the auto banning from Saferbot on all of IrbyTremor's subs.

One has to question why a psycho like IrbyTremor would make a good mod for "serious" subs. I wonder how many readers of those subs realize they're helping an ideological extremist who hates freedom and loves censorship?

Side-note: IrbyTremor and the rest of Ghazi has been pushing hard to get Reddit to ban KiA. There are all sorts of wild accusations being thrown around in that sub, always without proof. Always with spez tagged. I don't think they'll get their way, but they seem to be getting more and more desperate as they lose their grip on the narrative.
