Got a call for a “no cooling” in this 40 degree weather down here in South TX

Was on call and woke up to numerous calls from our answering service at 3am on a Sunday. Being young and stupid I called the customer from my cellphone. Some guy couldn’t sleep because it was 78 in his house. Got there around 4:30am and this dude is tweaked out of his mind pacing around in cargo shorts and no shirt with his gut out and a big fixed blade knife on his hip. Threw a capacitor in it, told him his coils were matted and needed cleaning. He said he’d do it himself with a power washer, I told him why that was dumb and left with a check. He started calling my cellphone directly a couple hours later wanting me to come clean the coils, at this point I’m done with the guy and told him to call our shop regular time. He wasn’t having that so I blocked his number. Told my boss about it Monday morning and he goes “3am? I hope you didn’t run that.”
