Got a Colonist With 20 Medicine on First Roll. Is She Worth Taking?

He's okay.

He has good intellect which will keep him busy most of the time early on and give you a bump to research. He's got a flame in crafting and construction, two very useful skills, and when all else fails, he can haul.

Pessimist will suck early, as will being incapable of violent. It won't matter much later on when you should have mood under control and you won't want to put your doctors into a fight anyway.

The fact that they have 20 medicine isn't really a huge deal, but if this pawn had, say, 12 medicine they'd still be decent. I don't mind taking 1 incapable of violence to start, it's not that big a deal of you utilize traps.

I'd say this is a borderline pawn. I'd take them if they showed up on my doorstep randomly. At creation, when you can be more picky, maybe not.
