I will leave you with this- both my spouse and I were in person essential, were exposed early on because of this and gave it to our children. How we, as essential workers and as parents and my kids as students were treated in the lockdowns will stay with me forever. I also acted as a Guinea pig for the family getting vaccinated very early on and had some pretty terrible side effects regarding my reproductive health, that were completely disregarded by my gynecologist (not the first time it’s happened). Anecdotally I’m pretty skeptical that some of the side effects are being taken seriously, especially from women (there is a history of this in the medical field btw, especially in testing new drugs).
