I got denied a credit card despite having a decent credit

Pro tip

If an American bank.. doesn't want to put you into debters servitude for the rest of your life..

Then you really really really shouldn't get a credit card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so mad that my bank wouldn't give me a card. I applied till one did, citing my internship salary as my income.. It didn't get too crazy, sub 7k but as an engineer it took me 4 years to get out from under it.

You need gordon Ramsey in your life y'all. Put this energy into getting more real money, you aren't beating the system. The house always wins this game!

And here is why. Once I got out from it. I bought a house. Ran up by card. And was in finical hell for 2 years. Which is an exaggeration, but you don't have it easy like me, who works at a top 5 software company.

End of debt summary. Out of 7 years of collecting miles, I had enough for one trip to South Korea. Ended up using it all for a trip to Cali. 100ish in interest. So about 1k a year let's say. 7k Total. Hmm. That's 7 trips to Korea... It's all a scam.

I have to leave this group. I will go mad listening to you all thinking you are clever as you go into debt.

Y'all need Jesus and Ramsey.
