I'm not a social worker, where is scoial services? Im just a just a pen pusher in Amsterdam Zuid. I found myself in a position where I had some time and allowed them to join me for some peace and quiet.

I know I'll get down votes for this, but from my experience, you guys can be rough to live with at times.

I moved here with my Dutch partner 5 years ago and maybe I over romanticised how easy it would be to integrate in society and make Dutch friends, but man oh man, you guys are impenetrable.

I had a better, real conversation with that guy in 20 minutes than I did with anyone outside my working environment.

I never assumed it solved anything.
