Alright just finished watching the movie and don't feel like making a whole other separate post so quick post thoughts. I absolutely loved the overall look and feel of the movie. As a SH fan I thought it captured the look perfectly, I loved all the callbacks to the first 2 games and absolutely loved Akira's music. That being said, movie felt like it ran on for way too long, didn't like how the movie's pace broke just so we can see the pointless story bits with Christopher, and while I was really into it for the first hour or so when Rose was exploring Silent Hill, I started getting bored towards the latter half when it started getting into the witch burning stuff which I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with Silent Hill, so it suffers from what most video game adaptations do. Overall, I thought it was pretty ok and being a pre existing fan made it easier to enjoy. Probably give it maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10. For $2 it ain't bad.
