Got my 2018 Elantra brand new a bit under 2 months ago and I'm already almost at 3k miles.

See, you're making a potential claim about fraud or inaccurate accounting of a very precise system by a global company that makes tons of goods up to and including fucking ocean liners.

You have a suspicion, that's it. This insisting to every comment that you're still sure something fucky is going on reflects on you, not Hyundai Inter fucking national. Either you have proof with valid logic and data or you have some house wife spooky esp suspected theory based on bullshit.

Figure out what the fuck you're trying to say here , cause you sound stupid to me about this particular issue.

There is no benefit to inflated mileage on their highly complicated and integrated high tech automobile system, and all car techs use mileage to figure out wear and tear on every part and system, it does no good to flub numbers.

Your fuel remaining mileage display is the only system that takes a guess on how many more miles you have before fumes , and that's changes based on how you drive , ie, if you suddenly start flooring it or breaking hard and start stop long drives, the distance available at fill up will vary a tiny bit, as the on board computer is even smart enough to know how consistent you are with driving style and fuel consumption.

That's the only varied thing, everything else is systematic and precise.

You're gonna need Proof to continue a meaningful discussion here, otherwise you're all ghost hunting hunches with dogshit logic and a unscientific approach.
