Got my piece of shot down Russian plane today after donating to dronesforukraine.fund

I'm comparing justifiable victim rage to justifiable victim rage. If you lost something and this brings you comfort, fine. Everyone else is just being bloodthirsty.

The pilot of this Su didn't decide to invade Ukraine, personally. It's like the cut scene in band of brothers when they're all old and realize, "hey that Nazi across the river is just like me, he probably likes to fish."

On the other side of this conflict when we realize we're all human again, this is the stuff that should stink worse than shit. Foreign people delighting in death in a foreign war.

I cheer every Russian plane that gets down, but I also acknowledge the dark side of that and don't let it desensitize me. In all likelihood, a pilot was killed, injured and/or captured here. A pilot that would have been great friends with a Ukrainian pilot 20 years ago.

Tragedy all around.
