as an American, for us it's different to hear of violent weapon crimes and the weapon being a knife. before I got into Drill I would've thought along similar lines like "The fuck? How a nigga let another nigga knife him up? Why not run? or fuck it, why not shoot the nigga with the gun?" but then I learned how strict you guys gun laws are.

I'm in my 30's, I first held a pistol at like age 8. and without a bunch of text, I always could get a gun if I wanted before I could get a job. just guns are so 'American' that we don't usually use melee styled weapons.

I'm not excusing ignorance on behalf of my American countrymen and women who speak down on you all for using knives, but I'm willing to bet 9/10 times the chatty shit comes from a lack of knowledge about you guys country. but /u/keaneboy2 I wouldn't get pissed off, and I'm sure it's some misunderstandings you British kats have on us which is just as ignorant. end of the day, people don't know about shit outside of America (most of the times) we aren't a nation which is too big on teaching the youth (especially of the inner city) about the different cultures and such of the world (from personal experience).
