None of us know the exact situation of any of this. We don't know you or the person in the store.

I at least assumed you knew the person you were speaking to in the grocery store (friend etc). If you didn't, it's not logical that you would be talking to them.

It's very confusing.

How well do you know the person from the grocery store? are they reputable?

What businesses do they own?
