Judging from everything that I've read in the thread I'm assuming this is the scenario:

OP cubed item -> got something better than he had before -> server rollback with meso (or nx) spent rolled back -> OP pissed that he lost the pot he got.

In this scenario, unfortunately on paper there's nothing wrong with what happened and the results. The reason being, let's assume you lost a triple crit dmg on glove. You'd be rightfully pissed but that's also the exact same thing as if you ended up with triple def lines after spending the same exact amount. However I'd be willing to bet you'd be super happy with the rollback on the triple def and wouldn't bat an eye.

In both of these cases, you paid for a dice roll service. You didn't pay for triple crit or triple def. When it's looked at like this, there's nothing wrong with the steps that were taken. You used a service which required money to do so. The server it's running on essentially crashed, but the company did refund the money that you paid to use their service. From an outsiders point of view, there was nothing wrong with the final result.

In some ways this rollback should deter more people from spending since it's a direct way to show you, you own nothing that you "own" in this game.
