I was a regular at a metal pub every weekend for years, i wore clothing that you would wear out to regular clubs, coloured shirt, nice jeans and dress shoes, spikey hair (im boy)

Every few weeks some non regulars would come in dressed in goth and wanna fight me because i wasnt metal enough, then when they find out im a regular and know everyone they all ask me how can i like metal music when i dont dress like it

The irony of non conforming goths having issues with me not conforming with their ways dispite being more of a fan of the music than them wasnt lost on me
