Gotta love Uber support. SMH!!!

Not multiple throwaway addresses. I initially set up an Uber ride sharing account but never drove for Uber. When UberEats started, I signed up using a different e-mail address to prevent from receiving both ride sharing and delivery requests. At the time, I heard a lot of drivers complain about not knowing whether they'd be receiving ride requests or delivery requests, so I set up the UberEat delivery partner account under a separate email to prevent that from happening.

All was basically well until I tried to be a customer myself. They gave me a promo code, so I figured why not use it. After seeing the promo code not work, I should've just given up on it. Instead, I inquired with support about the issue and instead of fixing my issues as a customer, they basically deleted my delivery partner account. Deleting an account would've been fine if they deleted the right one.

They asked which email to keep and I told them. Why they deleted the active delivery partner account and moved that email over to the ride sharing account is beyond me. It was as simple as looking at which account had earnings and which didn't.

I was able to verify today that the earnings I made for the past 6 days would still be paid to me. And they sent me a link to access my 1099. Hopefully they can correct the issue, otherwise I'll ask them to delete all accounts/profiles on both sides of the fence (customer/partner) and then I'll just sign up as a delivery partner and wait for the background check to be completed again.
