I actually don't get this. How could you possibly say the lockdown was needed if this has been spreading since December? If that's true then the timeline should have been far far worse for every country. NYC should have happened way back in December or January, not now. It doesn't add up at all and if this has been going on since December then (a) what the hell is going on now or (b) are we being mislead about the severity of what's going on now.

This is going to have some massive and terrible repercussions because if it comes out that this is all a huge overreact, and this shit has been around since December, then people are going to absolutely not trust public science for a while. Good bye climate change.
