I never accused the public schools. I told a fact based on schools in my area. 1) County lost grant from Bill and Melinda gates by wasting it on a new office for themselves 2) 500k was given to each school. Schools spend money on updating old routers to ‘new’ routers which are just as slow. E schools got new LED’s. The school also highly limits teachers printing due to lack of money.

And for Private schools, they have to care about education, or the money will stop flowing. Parents will withdraw their kids, and their funds, and go to a different school. Yes some public schools take large chunks, sook at any private uni, but if they provide a lesser education, they will loose customers. The same reason Comcast will make sure your internet is running, so you don’t switch to Verizon.
