Government asking for an extra $2.1 billion for Indigenous programs

Indigenous seem to be rising up and demanding rights.

I'm all for environmental revolutions, I like the concept of having a livable planet in the future and the chances of that happening are very slim without drastic change.

But I do no like the people trying to co-opt this movement for their own means.

If you're talking about the removal of the RCMP, that was one Wet'suwet'en demand of two. The other was the removal of CGL before negotiations can start. So it's nice that one demand has been met I guess.

And the Mohawk said they will remove the blockade at the request of the Wet'suwet'en hereditary Chiefs.

Great for both of them too. The GoC had dragged it's feet long enough when it comes to indigenous rights, I'm supportive of the Wet'suwet'en and Mohawk in forcing the hands.
