Government breached treaty principles in Covid-19 response, Waitangi Tribunal finds

I personally think the NZ vaccine information campaign as a whole has been pretty poor. How condescending is the radio ad "The vaccine is safe... and effective...".. spoken so incredibly slowly.. where was the actual information about the virus? where was the information about how people were dying? information about the vaccines? a counter to the misinformation?

I think back to the hard hitting drunk driving campaigns of the late 90's, they were blunt, gory and scared the shit out of me. They played when cartoons were on after school! (I'm not saying that's a good thing, but interesting to see how much more shy and hesitant this public health campaign is).

I am so frustrated with the anti-vax sentiment of friends and family, but I do wonder where my opinions would be if I had never discovered reddit.
