Government hell-bent on dismantling public education - Auckland professor

Absolute nonsense coming from just another bias college "intellectual" who are usually just as trustworthy as a homeless meth addict and have practical skills of one too. I am an economist that has worked for several private and public economic institutes around the world and the general consensus is that western governments have too much of a hand in schooling and are incorrectly and inefficiently allocating funds in regards to education. Most policy analysts if meet have all agreed on this point with the exception of some who think more government spending is needed in education instead. We need to privatize some aspects of schooling and allow for more educational choice, the people that argue against this point (whose educational ideas have the sophistication of vanilla cake) say that this will increase inequality, this couldn't be further from the truth if we reallocate some of our educational spending to vouchers (which lets be honest, half of you haven't heard of this at all). The idea that students have to go to district schools in this country unless they can afford private schooling is an absolute disgrace which disadvantages people that live in poor areas and usually minorities the most. Why is this? Because of public non-charter schools. Me personally I am very happy I didn't go to a public school or did the worthless "learn to learn style" qualification NCEA that we had the absolute misfortune of adopting or I probably wouldn't of had that easy of a time in university (hint: most of my senior year got into 200 classes right of the bat, if you are worried about worth while education). All the arguments for more control public schooling stem from: muh inequality (which public distrit schools cause) to my educational quality (like what? charter schools in NZ may have gotten off to a bad start in New Zealand but the U.S and other countries confidence in them and the results they achieve often far exceed public schools plus you can always just change schools in a voucher system, no one is making you stay in that system like NOW). The only reason these academics are wanting to keep the public district school system we have now is because they want to be able to control the choices of individuals and install social Marxism on the students. If you don't at least support more school choice enabled and made possible to poor folk using vouchers, charter schools and more private schools (made cheaper by demand and supply) than you are either a socialist or an idiot (probably both).
