Government response to the Riksdagen

Almost as funny as the idea that a belligerent nation with a strong nation will promote peace - but that's just the UK under Tory Britain!

A strong nation needs a strong nation, strong economy, a strong leader and a strong domestic policy. It also needs a strong military so we can defend ourselves. With this government we will never be a strong nation.

While the communists are a valued member of our coalition, the governmental foreign policy will involve the input of all parties involved.

Well, with the Greens, Socialists, and Communist which can input foreign policy, I still stand by my fact.

I'm sure that there are better jobs which do not involve putting oneself in unnecessary danger to line the pockets of politicians. I'm sure these hypothetical jobs pay better also.

This ignorant comment only shows how much the Greens know about the military.

Excuse me? We have no problem with building ties with any of those countries.

Well, you seem intent on tearing down these ties! You have proposed sanctions on Israel. You have dismissed Ukraine concerns and have shown utter contempt for Ukraine sovereignty. Members have introduced motions which denounce the US. Members have supported rebel military groups in Mexico.

With these members and parties in government, I truly worry for our foreign policy.

Hamas are a democratically elected government in Palestine - just because it's not a government which resonates with us particularly well, doesn't mean that it's not fair and just.

So much for a commitment to human rights.

Your examples regarding WW2 and the Falklands are pathetic - we support the right to self determination, and are willing to defend our allies if necessary.

Tell that to your SNP allies who you seem to have accepted wholeheartedly.

However, unlike some parties, we don't believe in mindless belligerence and brinkmanship, since diplomacy and communication is usually a lot more productive!

Well done for stating the obvious. Who would have thought that diplomacy and communication is productive? Also, nice whataboutism.

You get to have an opinion on authoritarianism when the actions of your party continue to annihilate any semblance of class or income equality.

A classic case of whataboutism. I can debate you all day on your claims but that's a debate for another day.

We don't believe that Russia is about to invade - that doesn't mean we can't criticise its domestic policy.

Nobody believes Russia is about to invade. We do however believe that Russia can damage us in other ways.

It really slaps me on the knee when a Conservative tries to claim that they'll bring about a just country with one hand, while shoving austerity in everyone's faces with the other. Classic.

Whatboutism. Classic. Again, I will debate your claims another day.
