GPP vs Cash observation

I'll try to eli5:

Let's say there is a $5 1000 player cash game and DK $3 Sharpshooter $50,000 to 1st place.

The $5 cash game are full of casuals that understand how DFS works and are always on [eziestplays.com](eziestplays.com) [TM] and the dfsports NBA thread of the day waiting for Josh Edelman's sheets. 70% of players in the cash game own JJ Barea. 50% of them own John Wall. JJ Barea score 60 fps and John Wall score 70 fps. Because two highly owned players score high, the cash line will higher than normal.

In GPP, players are more likely to try to pivot away from chalk. If two players score 50 fps, but one is lower owned, you'd want the lower owned one. In the GPP game, JJ Barea is only 20% owned and John Wall is only 25% owned. Instead, some people tried playing Anthony Davis against the Rockets because the over/under for the game was 300 and they knew he wouldn't be highly owned, but if goddamn it if Davis hits, they can retire from DFS for life. Davis runs to the bathroom to ran his eye brows and screws over the 10% of players that tried him.

That same night, some people were opening draft kings for the first time and saw that the $3 sharpshooter gave $50,000!!!11 to first place. Knowing absolutely nothing about fantasy NBA, they went ahead and played Stephen Curry, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and some no names so they can fit in the people they actually know. The Warriors end up winning by 40 pts against the Lakers. The Rockets gave up by the 3rd quarter down 10 pts. And Russell Westbrook injured his ankles by the 2nd quarter and Kevin Durant goes off. These players will probably return because dfs is too fun and they provide free money, they also exist in cash games, but they want to know that if they do hit, they'll win a lot.

TLDR: The percent that players are owned determine the cash line
