GradeA is afraid of talking back to idubbbz

Yes, that's fine in terms of talking about his content, but whining about him attempting to make some money doing something he works very hard at is just dumb. You don't even HAVE to watch, the blurb is at the end. You can just close the dang video.

YouTube is cutthroat. These careers don't last 10-20 years. You'll see stars rise and fall in less than five. Not only that, but the pay is absolute garbage. CPM ad revenue sucks and most people block the ads anyway, forcing these guys to supplement their income. So you get people who on one hand complain that videos don't come out quickly enough or aren't up to the standard they have while simultaneously getting mad at him for taking the steps necessary to prevent needing to get a second job... all so he can continue to make videos that you are at worst briefly inconvenienced for.

If you don't want him to have to make ads, donate to his Patreon or pay for YouTube Red. Throw him a little cash to keep him up and running. That's just how it works. You're either free and rely on sponsorship or you rely on money directly from viewers.

I mean, yeah, there's a third option: You do neither and get a full time job, which means you make far fewer videos or the content suffers because you literally don't have enough hours in the day to give the videos your full effort and hold down a 9-to-5.

That's YouTube reality. Brief careers relying on ad revenue on a per video basis and people that seem to think they're entitled to never actually help the creator's livelihood. Your views don't mean shit if they don't generate him any income. He could get 10mil views per day but if everyone blocks the ads, guess what? He's flat broke.

YT is rough, sometimes it's worth remembering that. These people do what they can to earn what they can. Focus on critiquing the content, not how he's trying to earn a living.
