Graduate engineering job in Scotland.. limited experience

Although it seems blase when older people say ‘You will be fine’ you really will be. I graduated in the 90s penniless in Glasgow when all the grad schemes were closed and almost no companies came to Glasgow to recruit. With an ordinary 3 year MA. It was mostly minimum wage call centres For Glasgow graduates. Everyone was going to London then. I ended up working in a factory for a while. Also don’t pay any attention to what other people are doing follow your own path. Again this sounds blasé but many times in your life some people seem ‘ahead’ or behind of where they are ‘supposed’ to be. You have a great degree - who cares if the others turned down Oxford. That’s what they say and people often flagrantly self promote. Many times in my career I have been surpassed by someone with an HNC. There’s lots of pressure on young people to ‘succeed’ straight away.
