rural areas far more than rural areas need urban areas

Not since sustenance farming has ended. each rural area is only producing one thing now and then selling it to urban areas for money that they can use to buy what they actually need to survive. both are benefitting. they are not at war. the existence of the other side improves the quality of life of each side tremendously.

that is without even going into the farming subsidies that the government provides to prop up the rural areas
