I agree on a lot of what you are saying here and disagree as well.
I was told co-sleeping was the best for babies because they can get their breathing cues from mom. Also they don’t fluctuate temperature much when next to a body.
I breast fed and co-slept with my 2 kids and never rolled over on either one, ever. Side line nursing and being able to catch a few extra zzzz’s while at it made for a less sleep deprived mom. Those two kids are 18 and 14 years old now.
As always talk to a professional and seek their out their advice on the subject.
As for the cradle, while cool, my oldest HATED being in a cradle like that. It was too rickety and shaky and he freaked out and cried every time I put him in it.
