First off I don't have money and can't stand when people make statements as if I'm coming from a wealthy background and view, my rig total (including screens and nice/mouse) cost about $1000 and it can run warthunder absolutely maxed and most games on high to ultra, if you own a Mac I've spent less than you, own any laptop made in the last few years and I've probably spent less than you. People say "oh they need to include the toasters", if you're playing games why are you still on a toaster? Because if your system can't handle even low to medium with some foliage and whatnot I am afraid of what other games might look like (any AAA title of the last two years stomps warthunder for graphic intensity)

No, just no. I built my rig with a simple goal in mind, Max power with as little space and money, and I didn't build it with that idea in mind to then LOWER my graphics just so I can counter players using low graphics. On top of that, while I recognize there are a number of players who have no choice because of their hardware (even though they should simply upgrade as stated above) I feel it's more likely that the majority of players that are actually parlaying on low and the majority of players we run into while playing are not anywhere near the minimum specs, they're simply doing it for the advantage which is idiotic, if not for the looks of the game but for the mechanics.

it's called realistic and simulator battles, and what did tanks do REALISTICALLY and in real life? They hid in forests in shadows, behind bushes, and some case in tall grass. So my point is, let arcade have nothing graphics wise if that's how someone needs or wants to play, but not the more realistic modes where actual line of sight and being able to see where your enemy is and where your shots land is truly important.

Pay to play is every game you purchase or pay a subscription to...and pay to win could not be used here so idk what you were trying to do with that.
