The Great Appeasement

Democracies around the world have made their citizens better off be it developed or developing, they have not though made lives of "1.2 billion Chinese not as dark as before."
Remember that China is a middle income country, with similar progression then plenty of democracies.

Which current developing country has done as well as China? That's my point, so maybe you didn't understand.

That both democracies and authoritarians have failures and successes. Since 1990, which developing democratic country has improved health, education, income and more than China has?

I would argue that such amount of casualties would be hard to achieve under a democratic regime, but its not impossible.
My point was more than what China is doing is not unique because they are making the lives of their citizens better its because of the size of China.

China is not unique, that is my whole point. What are we even arguing here. That you can't just say darker, because it's not a straight forward answer.

Oh and the size of India is also not small, unless you think that 100 million is the difference.

Oh and it's not impossible, it's happened.

If you say so.

Everyone who knows the period say so. Not just me.
