It was because all her character did in the trailers was make stupid, obnoxioud, loud noises while the others actually did stuff.

I didn't follow the aftermath of the release because the movie was shitcanned by critics and audiences and I had no interest in it from the beginning, but I saw all I needed to see in the vile reactions of the online trolling community after a fairly boring, lame trailer for a misguided reboot of a beloved franchise.
