The Great Plates Scandal?

It’s just a few bad eggs... the overwhelming majority of the food is quite good. I’ve seen it in person. As for the $66 a day, after the boxes, drinks are supplied, it’s only $60 a day that the restaurants receive. No one has mentioned labor costs either. It gets up there as it takes 4-5 people (assuming you are paying fair wages) 8ish hours to complete the meals (our company has 50 people to feed so that’s 150 meals). As for the pic of the plate from the Ramen spot, that was a picture of one box out of 3. If you look at the box with the breakfast food (although scrambled eggs seems like a bad idea for this program in general because everything is to be reheated.) it was exactly what was on the plate. Definitely not trying to excuse what we’ve been seeing, but the program as a whole is awesome and most of us are busting our asses to put out amazing food for our vulnerable.
