Great that there's seemingly a new space race to build moonbases... but can't help but feeling the focus should be on setting up an International Moonbase as ISS successor, or at least a "Moon base city" with multiple bases forming a distinct hub.

I'm not completely against it (as I have mentioned), it's the misuse I have a problem with, What do you think will happen when the entire fate of the future of mankind is put to a company fueled by financial interests? Insulin Price Gouging? A Veritasium video comes to mind, even if someone is in good faith and ACTUALLY wants to advance mankind (like Elon perhaps, or at least he looks like he acts in good faith and the world is rallying behind him) he/she will be replaced at some point or another, What if the company has ties with a specific country? We live in a dystopian world, it should be of no surprise that we don't matter to giants.

I don't think US is the ONLY country that should be held accountable for climate change, I'm saying it dominates it while also having the power to act upon it, 6 of the top CO2 emitters are US allies, if we ACTUALLY, SERIOUSLY want to save the planet, we can, we just don't want to.
