The best analogy I’ve heard to our situation is that it’s like being in a car driven by someone drunk. You want to believe they actually know what they are doing, because you don’t want the alternative to be true. It’s hard to admit when you’ve made a mistake, but please take a moment and think about this. Trump isn’t some genius. He is a deeply flawed human being who lacks many of the traits of a real leader. Our executive branch is falling apart and failing to properly function. Instead of indulging in these fantasies, wouldn’t it be more productive to work on real issues?
