People posting this act have been lucky enough to have a wonderful childhood. Have you ever been a child where your parent(s) don’t have any form of transportation? How do you pick up food? Have you ever had a parent addicted to drugs/alcohol or abusive? Fun fact, if you’ve been abused as a child and CPS does an investigation and the parent agrees to treatment, they don’t take you away from the parent. Because, as most would know, the foster care system is worse! And even with the resources given by CPS it doesn’t always guarantee you’ll come home to food or a parent not high or drunk. But please, let’s further push them to them ground, call them “poor kids” and expect an Act from the 1940s to do them enough justice.
