Greeting from Egypt !!

but if it compared to Egyptian army its not equivalent in every military brunches , like Air-force , land troops , navy , special forces and the allies ( Arab countries which helping Egypt now economically )

A lot of great answers are already here. I want to add a minor thing to it. First of all, not a single Ethiopian wants to hurt you. We recognize the Nile is your only source of fresh water. That said, not a single Ethiopians accepts that you have an exclusive right to the water. In fact, what you and your politicians mention as 'Historical rights' is nothing more than a treaty signed between two slaves and a slave master. You have rights to the water but so do we.

Some reality check, The Egyptian military is more powerful than ours right now, but it is not that powerful.

It does not matter how many A1 Abrams tanks you have, what matters is how many of the 80 Ton monsters you can transport down the red sea or through Sudan to fight us and how large of a fuel train you need to establish from your home bases to supply their gas turbine engines(I'm guessing a lot, the tank was designed for the US army not for a smaller one like yours). On the same note, sure you have 600 F-16s, but ethiopia is way out of range of those, you would need air refueling assets to get them here but you don't have that capability(To be honest with you, I am baffled by that considering your politicians have been threatening to bomb us since the 1960s). What I am trying to say is, Your military does not have the logistics to send an expeditionary for large enough to win a war against ethiopia -- This is not meant as an offense to Egypt. Very few countries in fact have such capability (US, Russia, UK, France and maybe China). As for the Arab countries helping Egypt, well, depending on the KSA to balance out your budget is a major vulnerability not a strength and if Oil prices continue to as they are, pretty soon, they're going to be the ones who'll ask for help from you. Too many times I've hear Egyptian politicians say they can do this and that. Conventional war is Not one of those things they can expect to win. Still, the greatest threat Egypt poses comes in the form of an air strike. I am sure you can buy, borrow what you need to fly into our airspace. But that puts you in a very dangerous position where you will have a wounded enemy sitting on your only source of water. Unless you are able to bear significant force that is sufficient to force a political concession, hit and run attacks will not be successful, It can always be rebuilt. You will only succeed in rallying not just ethiopia but the whole of the Nile basin countries against you.

Which is the reason your leaders and ours are committed to finding political solutions.

tl;dr; Not a single person wants to see you suffer here, there is no ill will(despite the wars your politicians sponsor in our lands against our people) but we are tired of being bullied.
