I grew up with drug dealer parents. AMA!

  1. I figured it out around 14.

  2. They didn't explicitly tell me until I was about 15. When I started DARE, they told me they smoked it but never that they sold. I did notice it happen when I was young, but couldn't understand.

I remember asking my mom what she kept selling to the people that came round, and she'd say "herbs". My 6 year old brain was completely satisfied with that answer, and I never questioned anything. I guess she technically wasn't lying.

  1. As for actually dangerous incidents, no. They were smart and responsible. They lead normal lives now and, apart from the obvious, they still lead normal lives.

Also, people who smoke are more normal than you think. Teachers, plumbers, nurses, parents, etc. were common. Most of them are normal, sane people. It's not like the movies, sorry i don't have trainspotting type stories to tell haha.

There have nearly been fights, and lots of serious arguments. We saw a lot of people who have fried their brain on really serious drugs (heroin, crack) which would often put me on edge.

  1. Yes I do. I smoke weed at any opportunity, but it never comes before responsibilities or relationships. It goes well with my job so I smoke everyday. I know that's bad.

I'm a fan of party drugs, but in extreme moderation. Maybe 3 times a year.

  1. I'm looking online for a cheap mirror for my bathroom. The old one has too many mascara stains from over the years.

  2. My favourite colour is purple. I think.
