Grocery Delivery Service

Do you plan this as a business or a free service?

Since there are already many people doing this voluntarily (but not on a large scale), and businesses like instacart already set up to provide this service, how will you compete if fee-based?

How much do you expect to pay your employees? Will you insure their vehicles for business operation or will they have to purchase that insurance themselves? Will employees be scheduled for regular hours or on demand?

These are only a few of the questions you will need to be able to answer.

I am all for more delivery options in the region, but this is also a very vulnerable time and it will be easy to exploit desperate people who may have slipped through the cracks of EI and CERB. Please make sure you are able to operate both legally and ethically if working as a paid service. Feel free to DM me if you have questions about overhead costs or starting a business.
