Grooming Rituals

Skincare is my biggest splurge. I started taking care of my skin at a very young age, and I guess it worked. My girl friend (8 years older) was mistaken for my mom (glad she didn’t hear that!) and I get carded all the time. Most men and women say I look like I’m in my 20s, I don’t know, all I can say is thank goodness for preventative maintenance!

Ladies, don’t neglect your skin, for you most importantly — but also if you want to sugar over 40. ;)

I have long hair to my waist that I have never colored (natural red), so I stick to decent products (Kerastase is my favorite).

I keep my nails healthy, natural and short (gels etc. can look beautiful, they just don’t last with my lifestyle — and I hate scratching SD accidentally). I prefer Pedi’s and painted toes.

I am a Sephora junkie, but don’t wear makeup every day. I put in a lot of effort for SD, even if we are staying in - beachy waves in my hair, soft but sexy makeup, and airbrush tans. No perfume ever (I don’t like men swimming in cologne either).

As far as dressing and grooming, I have some designer stuff, but I’d live in a bikini if I could. Generally, I wear fitted dresses (Reformation, Intermix and Revolve are my favorites) with SD and sexy heels (usually strappy, delicate and high).

I love lingerie (HoneyBirdette heart eyes) but SD isn’t that into it... I still wear it sometimes, but I wish he liked it more! What can I say, I am a girly girl when it comes to some things.
