That would still mostly be Gores fuckup ultimately. If you want to give someone money for a specific purpose, you have them sign a contract, YES THIS INCLUDES FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Otherwise you're literally just giving them money and they are free to do whatever they want with it. Not to mention, it wasn't his money anyways, he raised it for them through his stream. Ultimately, it was donated knowing it was going to his family and not him.

Obviously we don't know the whole story about that, whether they needed the money, if they asked him for it, or anything, just snippets that got leaked/were shown through streams. Granted I've never watched him, nor do I care too, so I can't really say I'm familiar with what happened.
