Credit to /u/GlamdringBalrogsBane, who posted this comment on /r/asoiaf's announcement thread about the D&E series three days ago. It's one of my favorite comments ever. That's not hyperbole. It's the perfect storm of a comment for me regarding a D&E series. Though it's not just because I wholly agree with it, it's because I find it funny af. Probably way more than is reasonable, but it's involuntary. The brevity, truth, and candor of it synergistically sing to me. It keeps making me genuinely laugh.
I salute you, GBB. Your comment gives me actual joy. And I'll take joy in any amount, at any time, where ever I can find it. Whether it makes sense or not.
