To the Grubhub, Doordash, or any other food delivery employees, what is the strangest scenario you have had with an order?

Okay, I got one. I was a pot delivery driver for awhile. I ended up working on New Years Eve, it’s a pretty busy night, nothing major. Or at least, that’s how I think it’s gonna go at the beginning.

I get assigned to Glendale, an area notorious for good tips.

Everything is situated, I’m on my way from one order to the next. I pull over and pack the order outside of the customers house.

2 Older white men walk up, not normally a good sign, but fuck it, they look soft. I can tell they’re a little jittery, and overly talkative. Im honestly having a good time at this point and bring a positive vibe. I check the guys ID, sure enough, he’s like a 40 year old dude.

Somewhere along the line, dudes buddy starts talking. He’s starting with some small talk, but pretty soon asks “Do you like to party?”

Me being a stoner, working on New Years, answer with “Fuck yeah dude!”

He proceeds to whip out a bag of some white substance.

I ask “Is this snow?”

He responds to the affirmative.

And whips out his house key, scoops up a little bit, and does it in front of me.

At this point, I’m figuring, if it didn’t kill the old guy I’ll probably be fine.

It was my turn next, I got two solid bumps of some quite frankly mediocre cocaine. But hey, free blow is better than no blow.

That night was legendary, I went home with 160$ in tips+mileage.

TL;DR: Drugs are expensive. When a strangers offers you some, take them.
