DM me your email and I can see what is holding up your application. Depending on the district, it could just be the number of applicants in the system. Let me give you an example. For Manhattan, I have hundreds of people lined up who have passed their background checks and are waiting for their equipment pickups. We have a scheduled time on when we do them (at least I do, since that is not our only responsibility) so it might take some time. If someone schedules a pickup and then they don't show, that slot is lost to someone who would have came in and now they have to wait for another open slot down the road which delays things even more. Sometimes it's something as simple as a typo in the application (such as with banking info or phone number when it belongs to another applicant) which will send your application down a rabbit hole that has to be fixed detected which also takes time.
