So, GTA V isn't the only rage-fire burning at the moment

Even their shining gem, Cities: Skylines, reeks of bugfixes hidden behind DLC paywalls.

For those not familiar with the game, Cities: Skylines is a city-building game where you cultivate a sprawling metropolis, balancing industry, commercial, and residential areas while making sure your development continues as your city grows.

One crucial piece of gameplay is traffic; your city has cars, which can, over time, cause road congestion. One solution? Buses! You can plan your routes and... well, that's about it. The vanilla C:S was miserable on the bus/train planning. The UI was clunky, the overall planning felt very difficult and frustrating, and above all, it felt unfinished compared to the rest of the game.

Enter Cities: Skylines - Snowfall. It adds a few new winter maps (Note: regular maps don't experience seasons. Yeah, I know.) But it also served to revamp transit planning and scheduling. Even their DLC page mentioned that the ease of access to the system was "demanded by fans". Next up? Their newest Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit, which finally offered players a way to actually link your modes of transportation together, which (personally) feels like it should've been included in the original game.

Overall, Paradox really needs to get their shit together. I'm tired of having great developers shit on by greedy studios.
