It's really good and important that you're showing yourself self love. Don't ever stop. A relationship of ANY kind can never work if you don't love yourself and are constantly working on yourself. It may feel good temporarily but it can't actually work long term.

If he's anything like me then he wanted you to love yourself before focusing on the relationship.

I'm having to walk away from the situation I'm in because her actions and priorities just don't fit what I need. Notice this isn't some runner/chaser bullshit. The runner/chaser thing is the biggest sack of horseshit I've ever heard. I'm walking away and I understand why I am and what bothers me.
