I guess night shift was interesting

You're absolutely missing every point.

Bill Gates is no more the father then the poor schmuck of a husband that got conned into paying child support for a kid that isn't his. In this scenario, Bill Gates just represents someone who's better off than the husband. He could be substituted by literally anyone in this scenario.

Since both Bill Gates and the husband are equally not the father, why should the husband be obligated/forced to pay for child support? The husband didn't have anything to do with this child being conceived, his only crime was marrying a whore. Since your whole argument is based around the fact that children are entitled to financial support, why then should the husband be responsible for providing this support instead of Bill Gates? Bill Gates could surely provide a higher quality of life for this child, plus he's no more responsible for the kid than the husband. If the only thing that matters is that the child gets financial support then why don't we just have a parental raffle after every birth?

Men can't just lie about parentage like women can. You can't just say to your wife who just gave birth "Sorry honey, that kid that came out of your vagina isn't yours; I cheated on you." Men can easily be manipulated into believing that they are the father when in fact they aren't. If you love and trust your wife then you'd have no reason to doubt the parentage, so you'd be less inclined to get a paternity test right off the bat. Fast forward 3 years later and your wife admits her infidelity, takes the kid, and leaves you for the real father. Now your only crimes are marrying a whore and believing her. Even though the actual father has been identified, paying for the kid is still on you. Even if the real father makes ten times your salary, could support is still on you. This is entirely bullshit and can only be abused. The wife in this scenario totally fucked her husband over and now she gets rewarded with a monthly care package all for being a piece of shit.
